Within its main features it includes specialist roof trusses to British Standards, up to 35° pitch, rebated, morticed, framed, ledged and braced, double doors with a thicker exterior cladding (Ex 19mm x 125mm Shiplap) than the Chart Garage. Soffits and fascias come as a standard feature on this, our flagship range.
Designed and built for you
A timber garage is an attractive building and being timber your new garage will have better natural insulation, good ventilation and could be less expensive than a metal or concrete garage.
Roof Trusses to BS Standard
The roof trusses are designed to BS standard, spaced at 600mm centres with wind bracing and metalwork, pitched at 22.5 degree pitch with felt tiles underlined with 18mm ply roofing boards.
Thicker Exterior Cladding
The Shiplap cladding used on a Chester Garage measures slightly thicker than that on a Chart Garage at 19mm x 125mm. This helps provide extra insulation for better year round temperature control.
Soffits and Fascias
Chester Garages with specialist roof trusses and Onduvilla or Felt tiles include soffits and fascias fitted to all sides of the building giving a tailored finish.
Onduvilla Tiled Roofing
Onduvilla roof tiles are included as standard on the Chester Garage and you can choose from three different colours (shaded red, shaded brown or black/slate) for something in keeping with your surroundings.
Morticed Ledged and Braced Doors
All Chester Garage doors are high quality, morticed, ledged and braced frame, rebated and infilled with TGV, lined with an eco-breather membrane, set in separate door frames offering a more pleasing aesthetic look to the interior. Single Garages come with one pair of double doors and a side door and double Garages come with two pairs of double doors and a side door. All doors are hung in pressure treated door frames.
